Highways of progress

A strong transportation network shortens the mile, paving the way for better connectivity. Roads form the heart-line of transportation establishing accessibility to the remotest part of the country and helping maximise economic and social benefits. NCC has proved to be a reliable executor of large-scale contracts withintight schedules. Working hand-in-hand with the government, NCC is working to transform the roads & highways network in the country.

Elevatedcorridors& flyovers

• Construction of approximate 2.260 km long elevated 2-lane flyover with RE Wall for ramps approaches including bridge across river Haora and at grade C/w along both sides from drop gateto fire station via Baala Chowk in Agartala
• Construction of 143 meters long 2-lane steel arch bridge across river Katakhal and its approaches of length 445 meter approx. of flexible pavement including junction improvement and other appurtenances in Agartala
• Design and construction of super structure of national highway road bridge on already constructed Metro Rail Integrated Pierin Reach – 1 between Ajni Station and Airport Station from Ch 10253 m to 13663 m on north – south corridor of Nagpur Metro Rail Project at Nagpur

Runways

• Development of infrastructure works (Advanced Landing Grounds) in six locations i.e. along, Mechuka, Pasighat, Tuting, Walong and Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh for Indian AirForce


• Resurfacing of runway and taxi track at INS Rajali, Arakkon
• Improvement of infrastructure for ALG at Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh
